Remuneration & Conditions Remuneration: $111,341 to $120,557 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $94,084 to $101,872 salary, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading) Location & Term Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available) Term: Ongoing, full-time basis Role Overview We are seeking a Student Programs Officer to join the Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering. The role requires strong coordination, communication and relationship-management skills, and the ability to work proactively across teams and apply university policies with discretion and care. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver the Faculty of Engineering's Indigenous Australian, Women in Engineering & Construction and Real Leader Programs.
- Manage industry-sponsored scholarships, internships, alumni and international engagement activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple programs and stakeholders, administering programs end-to-end.
- Monitor student engagement and progression.
- Coordinate sponsorship and partnership engagement.
- Prepare reports and recommendations.
- Promote program outcomes to internal and external clients.
- Provide flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet program and event demands. Qualifications & Competencies
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating engagement strategies that target relevant audiences, with a robust call to action.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of client service.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with experience liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders and an understanding of relationship management and engagement.
- Demonstrated high level written skills in developing proposals and plans.
- Proven ability to develop, monitor and work within budget.
