Bakers Delight Toowong is seeking a skilled and motivated baking professional to join our team. You will play a key role in preparing and delivering high-quality, fresh baked products daily in a fast-paced retail bakery environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, knead, and shape dough for a variety of bread, rolls, and specialty products
- Bake products in accordance with recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Monitor fermentation, proofing, and oven temperatures to achieve optimal baking results
- Ensure all products are fresh, visually appealing, and ready for display
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organised work setting in line with food safety regulations
- Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering, and inventory management
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
- Support merchandising and display of products in-store Requirements
- Relevant qualification in baking or a minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a commercial bakery
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and production processes
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Solid time management skills and ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and hygiene standards
