Healthcare Enterprise Solutions Architect (Brisbane City)

The purpose of this role is to design fit-for-purpose solutions that fully encompass the architectural areas of business, information, application, technology and security domains in alignment with Enterprise Architecture strategies, directives and standards. Most work will focus on/around the state wide integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR), including build with and interfacing to this application. Duties of the role:
- Ensure system requirements are sufficiently captured to drive the architecting of a solution that fully meets the needs and expectations of system stakeholders.
- Identify and assess the implications of applicable client and industry related policies, standards and any other constraints that impact architectural decision-making and ensure these are appropriately reflected in the solution architecture
- Evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major architectural options and assess associated risks and issues, ensuring that the solution architecture balances function, service, quality and system management requirements.
- Consult, negotiate and communicate with system stakeholders and ICT professionals to promote shared and consistent understanding and acceptance of the proposed solution.
- Provide expert advice and communicate solution alternatives, architectural risks, issues and resulting implications.
- Develop comprehensive responses, briefs, submissions, presentations and reports to guide the development and implementation of solution architecture.
- Promote and ensure that appropriate methods and tools for solution architecture are adopted and used effectively within the project
- Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, including senior program/project executives, facilitating open communication and team-oriented working relationships.
