About This Role This exciting opportunity is for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Practice Development Unit as a Clinical Facilitator – Advanced Life Support Resuscitation, supporting education, clinical leadership, and resuscitation training across the Division of Medicine and Division of Surgery. Drawing on advanced clinical expertise, you will promote evidence‑based practice and deliver high‑quality patient‑centred care. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), resuscitation, and clinical skills education programs across a range of clinical areas.
- Provide expert clinical leadership, support, and guidance to nursing staff through education, mentoring, coaching, and simulation‑based learning activities.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education services, orientation programs, mandatory training, and clinical competency assessments. Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in resuscitation and acute care practice.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and coordinate clinical education, including teaching, mentoring, simulation‑based learning, and competency assessment.
- Solid communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to lead change, support staff development, and foster a positive learning culture.
- Experience applying evidence‑based practice, quality improvement principles, and contemporary healthcare technologies, including EMR and learning management systems. What We Can Offer You
