About the role Undertake technical and support tasks under the supervision of senior Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacists, including medicines distribution, stock management, product preparation, prescription processing and associated activities. About you
- Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service to hospital patients and staff by upholding organisational values and code of conduct.
- Assist with the preparation of aseptic and non‑aseptic products in accordance with standard formulations and procedures, including preparing cytotoxic, immunotherapies and repackaging of pharmaceuticals. Validation of aseptic competencies must be maintained.
- Assist with processing the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) claim including filing and screening for PBS eligibility.
- Participate in weekend, public holiday and extended hours rosters as required by the Pharmacy Assistant Team Leader.
