About the role Total Food Network Australia is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing and Logistics professional to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. In this full‑time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials to support our distribution Export operations. Your excellent procurement and logistics skills will be vital in maintaining effective supply chain processes and optimising inventory management. What you’ll be doing
- Source, negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to procure goods and services at competitive prices
- Work closely with Export Manager and Warehouse staff to ensure that all facets are communicated and actioned to deliver a smooth and profitable result
- Monitor and control inventory levels to meet production demands and minimise shortages or overstocking
- Liaise with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and coordinate logistics
- Analyse data and identify opportunities to improve procurement and logistics processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Provide regular reporting on purchasing activities, costs and supply chain performance
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise transportation and distribution What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a purchasing, procurement and/or logistics role, preferably within the food industry
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to identify and implement process improvements
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to handle complex supply chain challenges
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and purchasing What we offer
