Overlooking the city skyline and Roma St Parklands, the Hotel features 179 spacious guest rooms with generous open-aired balconies, modern amenities, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and an alfresco-style restaurant and bar. Job Description As a Guest Service Agent at Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill, you will provide a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver exceptional guest service, including personalised greetings, efficient check-in/out processes, and handling queries and requests promptly.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requirements.
- Ensure the Front Office is well-stocked and operate in compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfil guest needs and special requests.
- Assist with concierge duties, providing local information and recommendations.
- Participate in regular training to enhance guest service skills and contribute to administrative tasks as required. Qualifications The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant hospitality experience, preferably in hotels, with knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud and MS Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Versatile availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
