Wavell State High School is currently seeking a dedicated ITD Teacher Aide to join its team and support student learning in a team-oriented environment. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.63 FTE), 48 hours per fortnight. Who We Are Wavell State High School, which opened in 1959, is a large and highly regarded State Secondary school in the Inner Northern suburbs of Brisbane. Approximately one quarter of our students are drawn from a defined, local catchment while the majority of students gain enrolment through selective entry requirements. Acceptance of enrolment is based on academic achievement, sporting performance, talent in the arts or some combination of these attributes. Step Into Your Next Chapter
- Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
- Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
- Communicating effectively and displaying a high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing students’ development.
