- Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasks
- Attending sales and project review meetings
- Develop system designs and layouts
- Manage design schedule, budget and work orders
- Liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants and purchasing team
- Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical documentation
- Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans
- Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees
- Assist with system commissioning and testing Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical engineering processes
- Experience in a similar Project Engineer position, working on large scale projects
- Experience using project management programs
- Experience in AutoCAD designer
- Experience in Autodesk Inventor would be an advantage
- Experience in developing technical documentation such as product and training manuals
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
