Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Generation (Brisbane City)

We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power Generation team in Brisbane, supporting a major new wind farm project and a range of power generation and renewable energy assignments across the ANZ region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review electrical design work for renewable energy and power generation projects.
- Provide oversight on detailed design packages prepared by external contractors for major wind farm projects.
- Proactively integrate HSE principles and safety standards into design work.
- Support the electrical engineering team across a range of technical activities, including detailed design for other projects.
- Undertake technical assessments, due diligence and quality reviews across generation technologies such as wind, solar, BESS, and thermal.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams and project managers to ensure high‑quality, on‑time project delivery.
- Conduct occasional site visits to support project engineering responsibilities and construction‑phase inspections. Qualifications
- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing detailed design drawings, ideally within renewables or power generation.
- Demonstrated capability working across wind, solar, BESS or other generation technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a consultancy environment (experience preferred but not essential).
- Adaptability and flexibility to work across a variety of projects and technologies.
- Solid communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality and collaborative project delivery.
