Senior Electrical Engineer (Brisbane City)

How you’ll contribute day-to-day
- Apply technical excellence in Electrical Services design
- Manage projects across the full design lifecycle through to construction and practical completion
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of electrical deliverables in line with Lucid’s QA policy
- Provide certification of design, including Form 15 sign‑off
- Interface confidently with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Prepare fee proposals and contribute to project bids
- Lead and coordinate design teams, providing direction and guidance to junior and graduate engineers
- Train and supervise graduate engineers assisting with projects under your direction
- Attend site inspections, project meetings, and industry events as a Lucid representative
- Prepare, review, and contribute to reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation What sets you up for success
- Holds an Australian‑recognised degree in Engineering or a relevant trade background
- Holds national and/or regional registrations such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ, or QBCC Designer Licence
- Demonstrates solid problem‑solving capability and sound engineering judgement
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbal
- Is an Australian citizen (preferred) or permanent resident
- Has strong knowledge and application of Australian Standards, regulations, and the NCC
- Has experience using engineering modelling software, including Revit
- Brings diverse experience across a range of project types
- Can independently manage discipline‑specific scope on projects
- Can lead projects end‑to‑end from design through construction
- Maintains high standards of accuracy, organisation, presentation, and professionalism
