Senior Consultant - Transport Advisory (Brisbane City)

At Urbis, our transport planning team provides strategic, end‑to‑end advice to government and private sector clients, helping them understand and respond to the full transport and mobility context of their projects. Our transport planners are among the most experienced in the country, supporting projects from early visioning and network planning through to approvals and delivery. As a Senior Consultant , no two days are the same. You will make an impact by:
- Providing a broad range of transport planning services including land use/transport integration advice, approval processes, and management.
- Applying transport planning principles and demand analysis to offer clear advice on land use and transport integration, network design across active, public, freight and private modes, due diligence assessments, master planning, and navigating approval and management processes.
- Assisting with forecasting, project budgeting and financial management.
- Contributing to the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects and other national initiatives.
- Coaching and developing individuals within the team when appropriate. - A tertiary qualification in Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering, Transport Management, Transport Economics, Geography, Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline.
- 5 years of relevant experience gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.
- Strong technical understanding of transport planning frameworks, controls, and processes.
- Proactive initiative to meet project and client demands.
- Proven track record of managing projects and mentoring team members.
- A collaborative mindset to bring out the best in yourself and others while introducing new ideas to Urbis and our clients.
