- Water Resources and Flood Engineer to join our South East Queensland team in either Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast office. In this influential role, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive water resources and flood management strategies while directing a team of engineering professionals. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and mentor a team of water resources and flood engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work setting
- Develop and oversee flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling studies, and water resource management plans for major projects
- Direct the analysis of hydrological data and flood behaviour using industry‑standard software and modelling tools
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communication with government agencies, clients and community representatives
- Ensure all projects comply with Australian water legislation, environmental regulations, and industry best practices
- Review and approve engineering designs, reports, and technical documentation
