Mechanical & Structural Design Manager (Brisbane City)

- Lead mechanical and structural design delivery across utility‑scale Solar and BESS projects.
- Manage external engineering consultants, reviewing designs, calculations and technical documentation.
- Drive design optimisation, value engineering and constructability improvements across project delivery.
- Coordinate structural, geotechnical and civil interfaces to ensure compliant and efficient engineering outcomes.
- Provide technical support during construction, including RFIs, site coordination and stakeholder management. Profile Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience delivering design management across major renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Solid utility‑scale Solar and/or BESS experience, ideally within EPC project environments.
- Proven experience managing consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, construction methodologies and renewable energy project delivery. Benefits
