The Role We are working with a well-established and highly regarded construction business that is experiencing strong project demand and is now looking to appoint an experienced Construction Estimator to join their Hamilton-based team. This is an urgent hire, offering the opportunity to step into a busy pipeline of work across both recent build and fit-out projects. This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will directly influence project success and business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for new build and interior fit‑out projects
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and tender documentation
- Conducting quantity take‑offs and cost analysis
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
- Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost‑saving initiatives
- Supporting the wider team through the tender and negotiation process What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction sector
- Strong capability across both new builds and fit‑out/interiors
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
