We’re Hiring | Product & Solution Engineer – C&I; System Design (2 Positions) Location: Brisbane, QLD Salary: AUD 170,000+ plus Superannuation Nebulas Energy Pty Ltd is expanding and seeking experienced Power Engineers to lead Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) energy system design and technical solutions for the Australian market. This role suits engineers with strong independent design capability and a desire to take ownership of complex, high‑impact projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end C&I; system design, including PV, BESS, hybrid systems, LV/MV design, and grid‑connection studies
- Develop single‑line diagrams, protection schemes, cable sizing, load flow, and fault level assessments
- Attend project sites, engage directly with clients, and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, design documentation, and cost estimates
- Provide construction support, commissioning guidance, and grid‑connection delivery
- Collaborate with China‑based technical teams on Australian standards, compliance, and application scenarios
- Support the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning and handover
- (Optional) Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical standards Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in C&I; or utility‑scale energy systems
- Proven capability to independently deliver system designs and manage client interfaces
- Familiarity with Australian standards, DNSP requirements, and grid‑connection processes
- Experience with design tools such as PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM, PVsyst, AutoCAD (or similar)
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work directly with clients
