Graduate Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer – …, Brisbane City

- Salary commensurate with experience We are seeking applications for graduate or junior engineering geologists or geotechnical engineers to service our growing number and range of projects across Australia. The role offers the opportunity to work with our passionate team on a diverse portfolio of design and investigation projects, including national-scale transport infrastructure, renewable energy, and multi-level commercial developments. The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Work under the guidance and instruction of senior engineers.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants at a national level.
- Implement all company and project-specific health and safety requirements.
- Undertake a variety of geotechnical and geological fieldwork tasks, including site investigations, drilling, sampling and logging of soils and rocks.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understand, uphold, and communicate D&N;’s Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management system. To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
- A passion for working in the field.
- A degree qualified in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- A commitment to health and safety and working within the company’s HSEQ system.
- A commitment to learn & expand your knowledge of the industry.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
