Site Reliability & Maintenance Engineer (Brisbane City)

Elgas Limited Site Support Engineer Lytton (QLD), Australia | req28660 This role will ensure continuous production in the plant with focus on safety, reliability, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. What You Will Enjoy Doing

- You will responsible for efficient maintenance system on site. Ensure planned Maintenance is scheduled and completed in time and to required standards
- Trouble shoot and resolve all site maintenance issues to ensure productivity and safety are optimized
- Lead the PTW Process via completion of quality PTW and contractor management
- Support all MHF requirements on site and ensure integrity of controls and functional testing regime
- You will ensure safety and compliance in all personal behaviors demonstrating safety leadership on site
- Also, you will investigate incidents and highlight root cause reasons and manage required actions
- Support the plant manager in all aspects of site operations including documenting, initiating, planning and closing all management of change activities on site and provide monthly report on opened/closed/in progress MOC
- Proactively plan preventative maintenance on critical equipment/controls to avoid work orders becoming over-due. Manage the preventative maintenance policies in consultation with the relevant parties i.e. plant manager, depot operations manager, technical and maintenance
- You will manage work orders i.e. raise, circulate, follow-up and close is part of your role
- Additionally, you will provide support in conducting risk assessments on standard processes on site and assist plant manager in reviewing/updating SOPs related to routine work on site

What Makes You Great

- You have Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Chemical or related engineering field and more than two (2+) years experience in an engineering role (industrial gases and/or LPG industry desirable)
- You will have understanding of the Work Health and Safety Acts / Legislation / Regulations
- Project management skills and experience with excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills
- General understanding of Permit to work / Management of chance systems will be beneficial for this role
- You have the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven safety leadership is required and change management skills
- Broad understanding of LPG processes would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel between sites is required in this role
