Director, Mechanical Engineer

- Brisbane, QLD. We are looking for an engaging and collaborative Mechanical Director to lead and review mechanical design delivery across major water, wastewater, and conveyance projects. The role will deliver technical and delivery excellence, guide and mentor engineers, and build strong client relationships. Responsibilities
- Lead and review mechanical design delivery across major water, wastewater, and conveyance projects.
- Ensure technical and delivery excellence, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, governance, and client satisfaction.
- Guide and mentor engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline whilst focusing on technical excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors. Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary degree, CPEng & RPEQ.
- Extensive mechanical design experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, using solid commercial acumen and business analysis skills to deliver successful outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build relationships and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at varying levels.
- Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight. Benefits
