Maintenance Manager (Brisbane City)

The Company This manufacturing business has delivered excellent results through a strong focus on reducing cost through better processes and driving plant reliability. To continue developing in this area and keep delivering great results, they are now recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join their food manufacturing site in Brisbane. The role Reporting into the Plant Manager and sitting within the Site Leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement the maintenance strategy across the site.
- Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI’s around; OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages and OH&S; are adhered to.
- Developing the maintenance team in fault finding techniques, RCA, Fishbone Diagrams and other methodologies to facilitate a thorough and proactive maintenance culture.
- Life cycle management of site asset base, obsolescence and capital upgrades.
- Conducting in depth machine analysis to properly detect and predict machine issues before they arise. Your background
- Degree or trade qualified in an engineering discipline, being either mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar – Required.
- Must have experience working within fast paced manufacturing sector, ideally within the FMCG space.
- Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.
- Formal qualifications/training in Root Cause Analysis techniques, as well as CI methodologies, including; 5S, Lean and/or Six Sigma.
