Job Summary ConocoPhillips Global Accelerate Program 2027 – an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Engineering Graduate! Position Overview ConocoPhillips’ Australian headquarters are located in Brisbane. Our focus is supplying Australian customers with natural gas and international customers with liquefied natural gas. We do this through our 47.5 percent interest in the Australia Pacific LNG joint venture, one of the largest producers of natural gas in eastern Australia. ConocoPhillips Australia also operates the Australia Pacific LNG liquefied natural gas facility near Gladstone. We are also an exploration company, with ongoing exploration occurring in the Bowen and Surat Basin in Central Queensland and new exploration in the Otway Basin along the southern coast of Australia to identify natural gas reserves for supply to Australian customers. The ConocoPhillips Global Accelerate Program It is with great excitement that ConocoPhillips invites emerging Process Engineers to apply for the ConocoPhillips Global Accelerate Program. Commencing in February 2027, the program is a three-year accelerated program designed for early-career engineering professionals. The program integrates on-the-job work assignments, site rotations within Australia, technical and non-technical training, structured mentoring, and extensive networking opportunities at both local and global levels to foster professional growth and advancement. What You Can Expect As a Graduate Engineer
- Site based rotations to our work locations within Australia, or potentially overseas
- Travel to Houston, Texas, to participate in the Global Petro Tech Academy
- A diverse range of work assignments that build industry knowledge and technical capability, providing scope to fully capitalise on your individual strengths and interests
- Technical work projects that support your pathway to chartered engineering status (RPEQ)
- A customised Individual Development Plan tailored to your development goals

To be eligible for our program, you will:
- Have successfully obtained a tertiary qualification in chemical engineering, or be due to graduate with a chemical engineering degree by December 2026 (Honours preferred)
- Be available to commence full time employment in February 2027
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Be able to be mobile for interstate or global work rotations
- Have strong alignment to our SPIRIT values
- Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- An unwavering willingness to learn and improve your professional and engineering skills
