Building Construction Project Managers - BNE (Brisbane City)

We are regularly tendering for Civil Projects across Queensland and seeking expressions of interest to join us in submissions and capable of committing to assignments (if successful) for an initial period of approximately 6 to 12 months with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects. Mandatory Requirements
- Budgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, controlling resources & reviewing priorities.
- Manage Labour, Equipment, Materials and Subcontract within budget and time constraints.
- Undertaking various contract management activities including client liaison.
- Procurement of building materials and project services within guidelines.
- Implement Project Management systems in accordance with regulations & processes.
- Submit reports and provide information to management within timeframes.
- Train and guide project staff on specifications and construction processes.
- Contribute to the estimating process for bids or offers.
- Robust experience & knowledge of Australian Building Code Technical Specifications.
- Working knowledge of MYOB Advanced Construction, Autodesk Construction, Premier, Expert Project, Contractor Foreman, InEight, Fieldwire, Buildxact, Procore or other similar project management packages.
- Strong written, verbal communication & computer literacy skills.
- Experience with Project Management Systems, including Safety and Environment. Qualifications and Accreditations A Building Trade Qualification and current open/valid driver's licence – are mandatory. Any Post-Trade Project Management courses &/or QBCC Licence an advantage. Proposed hours are nominally 38 p/week, however some longer hours & weekend work may be required. Most likely based around South East QLD or Northern NSW, however some work away in regional or remote locations may be required depending on requirements. You must have the right to work in Australia, prior experience working on Australian projects with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills.
