Graduate/ Entry level Structural Engineer-QLD (Brisbane City)

This role is suited to individuals with experience in the design, inspection, construction and management of transportation structures. It is a full-time position, based in our Melbourne or Brisbane office, and is intended for a graduate and early career level engineer. Main duties of the role
- Contribute to applied research and implementation of solutions to transport infrastructure clients.
- Assist in the delivery of key bridge and other transport structural asset projects, including undertaking bridge inspections in Australia, New Zealand and abroad.
- Develop skills and capabilities to become an expert in structural engineering for transportation infrastructure.
- Consider safety in all aspects of the projects and strive to improve safety wherever possible. Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (Structural).
- 1‑3 years’ experience in a related field.
- Desirable: structural and condition assessment/rating skills backed by sound knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Desirable: experience in structural design and/or structural assessment, as well as asset valuation and remaining life determination.
- Great verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience in writing technical reports.
- Desire to continue professional registration: MIEAust, RPEQ/RPEV, CPEng, NER.
- Must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence. Eligibility
