- Lead transmission line layout design services, ensuring cost-effective, safe and compliant solutions across all project phases—from concept to commissioning.
- Act as the Responsible Person for design scoping, budgets and timeframes, providing expert advice and decision-making support to project teams.
- Own Powerlink’s PLS-CADD platform, including training and mentoring staff, maintaining technical criteria and libraries, and advancing the use of software and LIDAR technology.
- Coach, mentor and collaborate with team members and contractors to lift capability and maintain high‑quality design outputs. - Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Structural/Mechanical) You’ll bring specialist expertise in transmission line layout design with proven experience using PLS-CADD to deliver complex 3D design solutions. A thorough understanding of conductor mechanics, material strengths and project cost drivers; proficiency with AutoCAD; and practical experience with engineering survey methods, including LIDAR, GPS and total station equipment. You’ll also bring strong project delivery skills—from scoping and estimating through to implementation—ensuring outcomes are cost-effective, constructible and compliant with industry standards.
