You’ll play a key role in ensuring every person who enters the centre feels safe, welcome, and supported. What You’ll Do This is more than a security role, it’s a role with purpose and impact. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing a strong security presence with exceptional customer service
- Supporting tenants, guests, and visitors professionally
- Conducting foot patrols and proactive safety awareness
- Managing access control and responding to client requests
- Responding confidently to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Building positive relationships with retail partners and centre management
- Completing clear incident reports and daily logs using digital systems
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation and communication To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
- Current NSW Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
- Assisting contractors with sign-in and compliance
- Managing CCTV cameras, tracking targets and identifying potential persons of interest
- Respond to alarms inside the control room and effectively manage the staff during an emergency
- Use of computer to lock and unlock doors across the centre
- Answer phone calls from customers and tenants and respond accordingly to issues they raise
- Apply First Aid Certificate
- Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
- The ability to complete reports using various platforms
- Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
