Pastry Chef / Lebanese Baker (Manoush & Bread Specialist) Job Description We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lebanese Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing traditional Lebanese manoush and bread products while maintaining high-quality standards, consistency, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for preparing dough from scratch, managing fermentation and proofing processes, baking fresh products daily, and ensuring exceptional presentation and taste. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake traditional Lebanese manoush and breads daily
- Prepare dough from scratch and manage proofing / fermentation
- Stretch, top and bake manoush to company standards
- Prepare fillings and toppings including zaatar, cheese, labneh, meat and specialty mixes
- Monitor baking times, oven temperatures and product consistency
- Ensure food quality, freshness and presentation standards are maintained
- Maintain stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements
- Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
- Keep bakery section clean, organised and efficient
- Assist with menu development and new product ideas
- Work efficiently during busy service periods Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in bakery / pastry / Lebanese bakery production
- Strong experience making Lebanese manoush and traditional breads
- Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and baking techniques
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Food Safety Certificate preferred What We Offer
