School Basketball Referee (Broadmeadows)

Melbourne Sports Institute is currently recruiting enthusiastic basketball referees to join our team for Inter School Sport Competition in Term 1 2025.

We are currently recruiting basketball referees to work with our client schools located in the following and surrounding suburbs: Attwood, Westmeadows, Broadmeadows, Meadow Heights, Roxburgh Park, Somerton, Craigieburn and Mickleham.

We offer competitive rates starting from $40 per match with an chance for back-to-back games!

The season runs throughout **Term 1, February to April.**

Matches are played on a **Wednesday & Thursday afternoons between 1:00pm
- 2:30pm.**

There are also opportunities for full day tournaments in these areas from **Monday
- Friday.**

Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further umpiring opportunities throughout the year.

**To be considered for this role, applicants must**:

- Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
- Have a deep understanding of basketball
- Possess significant experience in playing, coaching or umpiring the sport

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00
- $50.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- refereeing: 1 year (preferred)
