Bulk Production Technician (Privigen) (Broadmeadows)

We are hiring for **Bulk Production Technicians (3 positions available) **for our Privigen department at the CSL Behring facility at Broadmeadows. In this role you will play an integral part in manufacturing product that is helping people with life threatening illnesses live a full life.

You will perform a variety of tasks and critical to your success will be your proactive attitude, flexibility and team support to meet the production requirements.

**These will be ongoing full time permanent role **with annual base pay of $88,070 **. It will be a 10 hours rotating shift between morning and afternoon **, **this also includes weekend work **. **There could be occasional overtime work so flexibility is required across the team.**

**Note: This role involves manual handling, prolonged standing and repetitive work.**

**The Role**
- Ensure all production activities are performed in line with manufacturing procedures and as directed by the Bulk Supervisor or Team Leader
- Perform production activities so the weekly Bulk manufacturing schedule of activities is met in a cost efficient and consistent manner
- Ensure the bulk process for the engineering and validation batches is delivered as per the Technology Transfer Plan
- Maintaining clean room state of the facility
- Some basic testing and manual processes involved
- Assist with developing and implementing corrective actions where needed to improve the team’s performance measurements (KPI’s)
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders to secure support in meeting the team’s weekly scheduled deliverables
- Participate in continuous improvement activities with the goal of improving product quality, compliance, and cost efficiency

**Your skills and experience**
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Food or similar GMP environment would be beneficial
- Manufacturing and Quality process and systems experience would be highly regarded
- Mechanical or technical aptitude is beneficial
- An understanding of processes, production operations in achieving targets
- Able to follow processes with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment with good problem-solving ability and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Solid written and verbal communication, including standard computer proficiency
- Tertiary qualifications in Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical/Process Engineering well regarded but not essential
