Female Support Worker - Morning School Readiness (Level 3 …, Meadow Heights

**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable **Female Support Worker** to assist a young male participant with his morning routine. The participant has Level 3 Autism and requires a structured, patient, and supportive environment to start his day successfully.
- This is a critical role focused on "school readiness" ensuring the participant is calm, prepared, and safely transported to school._

**Schedule & Hours**

This is a permanent weekly roster. **You must be available for both shifts**:

- **Mondays**: 7:30 AM
- 9:30 AM
- **Fridays**: 7:30 AM
- 9:30 AM

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Morning Routine**: Assisting with grooming, dressing, and breakfast.
- **Emotional Support**: Utilizing patient communication and sensory-aware strategies to manage transitions.
- **Transport**: Safely transporting the participant from home to school.
- **Consistency**: Maintaining a reliable routine to reduce anxiety and build trust.

**Requirements (Selection Criteria)**
- **Client Preference**: Female (This is a genuine occupational requirement to meet the participant’s personal care needs and comfort).
- **Experience**: Previous experience supporting individuals with Level 3 Autism or high-intensity support needs.
- **Communication**: Ability to use non-verbal communication cues or adaptive strategies.
- **Vehicle**: Valid Driver’s License and a reliable, insured vehicle.
- **Compliance**: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- **Reliability**: Since this is a school-run shift, punctuality is non-negotiable.
