Kindergarten Co-educator Permanent Part-time (5 (Broadmeadows)

We are currently seeking an early childhood educator to work 5 days a week in our 4 year old kindergarten room as a co-educator.

Our Service is a child safe service. We have a _zero tolerance_ for child abuse and a high focus on raising awareness about the importance of child safety in our Service and the community.

**About the role**: We are currently looking to recruit casual Certificate III and Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care educators, who would be available to work on short notice to fill the gaps throughout the centre when required.

**Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to**:

- Quickly building a positive rapport with both the centre’s team and children
- Assist the room Educator with setting up engaging and educational activities
- Ability to document children’s learning
- Engaged and supervise the children within your care
- Assist children in daily routines, rest periods and meal times
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children at all times
- Create positive relationships with team members, children and their families

**Essential criteria**:

- Qualified or studying towards a Certificate III or Diploma
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Current working with Children check
- Police check
- Current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications
- Knowledge of the Regulations, standards, framework and codes
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be part of the team
- Ability to work in a team environment
