We are seeking an inspiring and committed Primary Classroom Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for the College’s Islamic ethos and a passion for developing students’ academic skills alongside strong character, values, and faith. This position involves teaching students from Foundation to Year 6 within the Victorian Curriculum while fostering an environment that supports students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Teachers are supported by curriculum coordinators and an experienced leadership team. Teachers with experience across Foundation to Year 6 are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, differentiated, and high-quality lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum (VCAA).
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning setting that supports student wellbeing and academic growth.
- Integrate Islamic values and positive character development into daily teaching and interactions with students.
- Foster a caring, respectful, and spiritually uplifting classroom culture.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student learning using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and leadership to enhance curriculum planning and teaching practice.
- Participate in professional learning, school events, excursions, and whole-school initiatives.
- Build positive partnerships with students, families, and the wider school community. Qualifications and Requirements
- Current VIT Registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum (Foundation–Year 6).
