About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Facilities Support Officer to join our team in Coolaroo. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a full-time role, focused on maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations across our manufacturing site. Generally, hours will be 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday with a requirement to be on call approximately 1 time per month on a Saturday to attend the Coolaroo site if required. - Assist with the execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance, including plant inspections, calibrations, and repairs.
- Manage and induct contractors, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain and improve maintenance databases, schedules, and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee third party compliance audits including Essential Services and pest management.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Engineering Coordinator, production teams, and contractors to ensure smooth plant operations. About You We are looking for a skilled professional with:
- Qualifications: A mechanical or electrical trade qualification with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience—or 10 years in maintenance-related roles. A tertiary qualification in engineering is advantageous.
- Experience: Expertise in production maintenance and supervision, with an appreciation of chemical processes and their safe application to manufacturing activities. Skills: Robust teamwork and organizational abilities, attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerised maintenance management systems. Why Join Us?
