Beach Volleyball Coach/instructor - Full-time (Manly)

**Overview of the Role**: We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Beach Volleyball Coach/Instructor** to join our team and lead our programs at Manly and Maroubra Beach. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to **build, lead, and drive** our beach volleyball school while working closely with a supportive team in a dynamic, beachside environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coaching**: Prepare and run coaching sessions for various skill levels and age groups (adults and children).
- **Program Development**: Design and continually enhance coaching guidelines and session programs.
- **Event Leadership**: Lead events such as tournaments, corporate team-building sessions, and private parties.
- **Operations & Maintenance**: Assist with the management of equipment, beach maintenance, and operations at our shop.
- **Community Engagement & Fundraising**: Actively participate in community relations, fundraising activities, and partnerships with Volleyball NSW.

**Coaching Areas**:

- **Learn & Play Courses**: Deliver engaging sessions focused on fundamental skills and fostering a fun learning environment.
- **Intermediate Squads**: Train experienced players, enhancing their techniques and competitive strategies.
- **Private Sessions**: Offer tailored, one-on-one coaching to meet specific player goals.
- **School Groups**: Organize sessions for school groups, providing educational and enjoyable experiences.
- **Team Building Sessions**: Facilitate team-oriented activities for corporate or social groups.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Certificate IV in Fitness and Sport Coaching** and **Level 2 Coaching Accreditation**.
- Minimum of **2 years of coaching experience**, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience in program development and beach volleyball coaching.
- Current and valid **Volleyball Coaching Certification**.
- **Exceptional communication skills** (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders (customers, staff, and volunteers).
- Robust **time management and organizational skills** with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to work **independently** and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- **Valid Working with Children Check**.
- **First Aid and CPR certification**.

**Desirable**:

- **Passion for sport and recreation**, with a strong understanding of the beach volleyball environment.
- Previous experience working in a **sports-related industry**.
