Primary Teacher Brookvale

The College is seeking a permanent full-time Primary School Teacher to join our team.

As a member of our Primary Department, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Augustinian Catholic culture of the College

Providing an exemplary in-class experience for students

Utilising modern pedagogical approaches to deliver differentiated learning to students at all levels

Engaging with parents, psychologists and pastoral team to ensure individual student needs are catered for

Classroom supervision and behaviour management

Managing student assessments and tracking academic progress

Managing administrative requirements including report writing, parent teacher meetings and marking

Working effectively with the Head of Primary to implement the aims and practices of the Primary and College

Remaining up to date with teaching standards and pedagogical practices by actively participating in a range of professional development

Be willing to contribute to the College's academic, spiritual and co-curricular life.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Strong experience in teaching Stage 3

A Certificate in Religious Education

Required qualifications to teach in NSW schools, or ability to obtain

A commitment to the Catholic and St Augustine's educational values

A commitment to child safety

The ability to work collaboratively with peers and leadership

A commitment to ongoing personal skilled development

We pay above-market rates, based on proficiency levels within our Multi-Enterprise Agreement. ($92,420-$132,758 base salary)
