Pilates Instructor (Frenchs Forest)

Pilates Instructor, Studio Vela – Frenchs Forest Studio Vela – Frenchs Forest is seeking a passionate, energetic and professional Pilates Instructor to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can create a welcoming and motivating environment while delivering high-quality reformer Pilates classes that align with the Studio Vela experience. This role requires a confident instructor who can build solid relationships with members, maintain professionalism on the studio floor and contribute positively to the studio culture. The Pilates Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, engaging and results-driven classes while upholding the Studio Vela brand and member experience at a high level. Key Responsibilities Class Delivery & Member Experience ○ Deliver engaging and professional reformer Pilates classes ○ Provide exercise modifications and progressions suitable for all fitness levels ○ Ensure members are using correct technique and movement patterns ○ Create a welcoming, supportive and motivating class environment ○ Build strong relationships with members and encourage retention Studio Standards & Operations ○ Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the studio space ○ Ensure reformers and equipment are set up and packed away correctly ○ Monitor safety procedures during classes ○ Report maintenance or equipment issues when required ○ Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled shifts and classes Member Engagement Brand Representation ○ Positively represent the Studio Vela brand at all times ○ Support studio promotions, events and community initiatives ○ Encourage member participation and studio culture ○ Deliver a high standard of customer service both in person and online where require Required Qualifications & Certifications Applicants must hold and maintain the following: ● Current First Aid & CPR certification ● Certificate IV in Pilates (or equivalent Reformer Pilates qualification) ● Current insurance and industry registration (e.g. AUSactive) Previous experience teaching reformer Pilates classes is highly regarded.
