About the role We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in the Northern Beaches. This is a diverse and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance, administration, and business support functions in a fast-paced events environment. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business while also assisting with systems support and process improvement initiatives. What you'll be doing
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Client invoicing and reconciliations
- Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- General finance and administration support
- Coordinate first level IT and systems support
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures What we're looking for
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
