Production Operator (Frenchs Forest)

This position is responsible for the production of cable assemblies to instructions, with close attention to detail and quality. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor, with our office located in Frenchs Forest with onsite parking.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience in a production environment.
- Competent in the use of manual electrical and pneumatic crimping tools, manual and electrical cable stripping tools, computerised cable cutting machines, ability to solder, and knowledge of RF cable assemblies.
- **Micro soldering skills desireable.**:

- Ability to read and understand wire schedules, drawings and schematics.
- Attention to detail, and the ability to easily follow processes.
- Team player, with a adaptable and collaborative approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive, positive attitude, with a solution focused approach.

**Key Duties**:

- To produce cable assemblies according to instruction.
- Micro work soldering.
- Support other areas of assembly where required.
- Working with manual or electronically generated job documents.
- Production documentation (bills of material, routers and work orders).
- Production line work environment (flow line production and individual).
- Reading of drawings.

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

- Production Operator: 1 year (preferred)
