Role Description

This is a full time, in office role located in Manly, NSW for a Pharmacist (Trainee Prescriber). The role involves providing knowledgeable advice and quality care, managing prescriptions, counseling patients on medication use, and supporting patients in managing chronic conditions. The pharmacist will practise at full scope, and will receive a full scholarship to undertake prescribing qualifications at UTS.

Qualifications

Strong clinical knowledge, with an understanding of medication management and chronic disease support

Customer service and interpersonal skills to build trust and communicate effectively with diverse communities

Attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Adaptability and a proactive attitude towards professional development, including training in prescribing practices

Current registration as a Pharmacist, with the eligibility for or willingness to undertake further qualifications to become an accredited prescriber

Existing qualifications and experience in vaccination, UTI prescribing, dermatology prescribing and OCP continuation prescibing.

Experience within a similar pharmacy or healthcare workplace is an asset
