**About the role**: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Diet Aide to join this team. You will play a vital role is supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, ensuring patient dietary needs are met, and maintaining a clean and safe working workplace.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with meal preparation according to dietary guidelines and patient preferences.
- Deliver trays to patients' rooms and assist with meal service as needed.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure patients receive appropriate meals based on their dietary restrictions, allergies, and medical conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors by addressing dietary concerns and accommodating special requests when possible.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and rotating food items to ensure freshness and quality

**About you**:

- Working knowledge of Dietetics and Therapeutic diets for Hospitals.
- Working knowledge of IDDSI
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Well presented
- Time management skills
- Empathy
- Attention to detail.
