- Join a growing organisation with plenty of opportunity for career development About the role We are seeking a part-time OSHC Coordinator to work alongside our long-standing and highly experienced part-time Coordinator, sharing the role within our well-established OSHC program. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of Valuable Counsel Primary School in Forestville and is open from 7:00am to 9:00am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and Pupil free days the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

This is as a Permanent Part-time position

Duties

- Engaging, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time
- Our Place' Framework.
- Understanding the requirements of being the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Ensuring compliance to the National Quality Standards and the Regulations.
- Building ongoing positive relationships with the school, families, and employees.
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service. Requirements

- Working with Children Check.
- Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain
- Foundations of child safety training certificate or willingness to obtain
- Supervisors Food Handling certificate or willingness to obtain Highly Desirable

- Qualifications- Diploma or Cert IV in OSHC.
- Experience as a Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator within an OSHC environment Why Join CatholicCare?
