At Alpha Kids Academy, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. We believe that healthy, delicious meals play a crucial role in their development and well-being. We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our team and help create nutritious and creative meals for our little ones. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our dietary guidelines and menu plans.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Pay great attention to detail, particularly when managing allergy-specific foods and dietary restrictions. Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a childcare facility is preferable.
- An approved Food Safety & Menu Planning certificate or an equivalent TAFE Commercial Cookery Certificate is desirable but not essential. What We Offer:
