- 10 month contract from June 2026 – April 2027
- EA15 , 35 hours per week:$144,776.16 + super (9 day fortnight) About the role The Process Controller will drive process stability and optimisation for the plant, providing analytical and technical expertise to improve performance in management of the Wastewater and Resource Recovery systems to support product and system outcomes. The role provides support to both plant operations and plant upgrade projects and also is on the front line of incident response outside of business hours. Responsibilities
- Operate and optimise the plant to meet production plans, regulatory requirements, and safety, quality, and business continuity frameworks.
- Manage and improve process performance , ensuring stable, efficient operations while responding to issues, optimising inputs, and maintaining product quality and compliance.
- Act as the central technical expert and escalation point for complex process, control, and instrumentation issues across the Hub.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated product outcomes and support planning, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Monitor, analyse, and continuously improve plant performance, leading risk management, incident investigations, and implementation of operational and system improvements.
- Provide leadership and direction across the Hub by supporting budgeting, planning, safety, and team capability to achieve efficient, compliant, and high-quality production outcomes. About You In addition to a Degree or other Tertiary Qualification in Engineering / Science or equivalent experience, and a drivers licence, we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in water operations or a similar process engineering environment
- Demonstrated experience in hands on troubleshooting, optimisation and technical support to water or wastewater operations
- Stakeholder management and facilitation skills, working in a team setting
- Experience with SCADA systems, software for analytics, Microsoft Office applications and ability to use customised software packages Does this sound like you? Apply now.
