Warehouse & Delivery Coordinator (Broome)

About the Role Broome Plumbing & Gas is seeking a reliable, motivated, and tech-savvy Warehouse & Delivery Assistant to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our warehouse operations, delivery services, and LPG gas supply. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers — so confidence on the phone and a friendly, professional manner are just as important as the physical side of the job. The position suits someone who enjoys a mix of physical work, customer interaction, computer-based tasks, and working both indoors and outdoors. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
- Receive and check incoming stock and materials
- Unpack, label and store inventory in the correct locations
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe showroom/warehouse environment
- Assist with stock control and inventory management Deliveries & Logistics
- Assist the delivery driver with domestic and commercial deliveries
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed in a timely manner Customer Service & Communications
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Take customer LPG orders both in person and over the phone
- Assist with LPG bottle handling and refills
- Provide an outstanding customer experience at every interaction
- Handle customer enquiries confidently and escalate where required Computer & Systems Work
- Use our inventory and job management systems on a daily basis
- Process orders, update stock records and complete data entry accurately
- Communicate via email and other digital tools as required
- Confidence with computers and willingness to learn new systems is essential Asset & Fleet Management
- Assist with the management of company assets, including tools, equipment and vehicle fleet
- Monitor service schedules and coordinate servicing and maintenance when required
- Ensure vehicles and equipment remain organised, maintained and operational General Duties
- Support the warehouse and operations team as required
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with other operational tasks as the business requires About You We're looking for someone who:
- Is confident using computers and picking up new systems quickly
- Communicates professionally on the phone and in person with customers
- Has robust customer service skills and takes pride in every interaction
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Holds a current driver's licence (essential)
- Holds a forklift licence
