About Us: Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge offers unique accommodation and adventurous outback helicopter, safari and 4WD experiences along the famous Gibb River Road. With its unbeatable proximity to iconic Kimberley landmarks, Mount Hart is the perfect gateway to explore the West Kimberley including the Horizontal Falls, Buccaneer Archipelago, Twin Flame Falls, Bell Gorge, Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Charnley River Gorge and much more. The Role: We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist / All-Rounder to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season, ending in September. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in one of Australia’s most remote and breathtaking destinations. This is a dynamic and hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety in their work and thrives in a quick-paced remote hospitality workplace. The role will primarily focus on reception and guest services, while also assisting across multiple departments throughout the lodge as required. No two days are the same at Mount Hart, and we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, hardworking, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs.
- Managing guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Assisting with reservations, tour bookings, and general administration duties.
- Providing exceptional customer service and local knowledge to guests.
- Supporting lodge operations across various departments including housekeeping, bar and waitressing duties, kitchenhand duties and general lodge presentation and guest assistance.
- Assisting with daily operational tasks.
- Working collaboratively with the wider lodge team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, reception, or customer service roles preferred.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and assist wherever needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, in a remote environment.
- Current manual driver’s licence. Benefits:
