- $44.78 per hour plus Broome Location Allowance.

- Iconic location. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30am–4:00pm, based at the Depot. Job Description The Gardener Operator will be responsible for participating in the effective maintenance of parks, reserves and streetscapes within the Shire of Broome. The day‑to‑day operations will include maintenance and improvement of parks, reserves, verges, public open space, drainage, streetscapes and associated assets, as well as providing weed control, pest management and community education services. Qualifications
- Self‑motivated and reliable.
- Able to follow instructions and use initiative.
- Fit to undertake manual labour in the tropical Broome climate.
- Ability to work positively within a small team environment.
- National Police clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Current C‑class driver’s licence is a requirement of this position.
