Production Operator/forklift Operator (Heathwood)

Easyquip is hiring a Casual Production Operator for our Heathwood, Qld location. This position primarily involves:

- Loading and unloading steel plate, bins, and other inventory and materials from trucks using a forklift.
- Maintaining the yard, storage of raw materials and finished product.

Other production duties may involve preparing bins for painting (washing, grinding, scraping) operating metal folding machines, band saws and guillotines.

Required Skills and Attributes:

- You will posses a reasonable level of physical fitness and have a reliable means of transport to and from work.
- You will be a reliable, honest and conscientious individual who learns quickly and is committed to adhering to protected work practices.
- Availability to work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), sometimes on short notice. While we expect to offer approximately 40 hours of work per week initially, this is not guaranteed to be continuous.
- A current High Risk (LF) Forklift License and significant operational experience are **mandatory** for this role. In-house verification of competency will be performed.
- An Australian Citizen or able to provide evidence of Australian Work Rights.

Pay: $38.00 per hour
