You’ll work as part of a skilled team to ensure public spaces are safe, clean, and visually appealing. This is a hands-on, full-time role based in Melbourne with weekday hours. As a Mower Operator, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Carrying out mowing and brush cutting in line with contract specifications and schedules
- Removing rubbish and debris before starting work to ensure clean and safe operations
- Maintaining and operating plant, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Reporting equipment defects and completing accurate records for maintenance and compliance Serco is a place for you You are a dedicated and proactive individual with a passion for outdoor work and maintaining public spaces. You thrive in a team environment and are committed to safety, efficiency, and delivering high-quality results. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- A current driver’s license
- Working With Children's Check
- An understanding of turf machinery operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Awareness of OHS&E; practices, including manual handling and traffic management
