Materials Coordinator 12 Month Contract Parkville

Position summary

To maintain and manage the inventory requirements for production processes at Zoetis Parkville.

Responsibilities

Meet Workplace Health and Safety requirements by adhering to protected operations through:

Attendance at scheduled training sessions

Awareness training

Assistance with safety audits

Timely hazard reporting

Accident and incident reporting

Housekeeping of work areas

Maintain inventory/raw materials for manufacturing via the following:

Actively assist the day to day operations by ensuring adequate and accurate supply of materials used in manufacturing processes.

Actively assist in the management, storage and usage of materials used in manufacturing processes.

Liaise with procurement to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.

Assist in the management of short expiry materials and optimize usage where applicable.

Assist in the management of expired materials in accordance with approved disposal procedures.

Perform regular stock takes and inventory management processes such as cycle counting to ensure only current and within expiry materials are located within the Zoetis warehouse locations and manufacturing production locations.

Perform ongoing administrative duties for materials, maintaining relevant databases, attending meetings and representing manufacturing.

Understand and implement relevant regulatory requirements and other guidelines as they relate to warehousing.

Review, update, develop as required procedures, Batch Process Sheets and Bill of Materials (BOMs).

Meet Quality and GMP requirements by:

Adherence to GMP compliance and Site Quality Management Systems

Participation in internal audits

Maintaining work areas to acceptable standards

Forklift Duties

Usage of forklift under direction as warehouse operational activities are increased

Other duties as directed by Manufacturing Lead

Education and experience

Experience of SAP

Experience in warehouse and/or logistics

Current forklift license or the ability to achieve one
