EAT PIEROGI MAKE LOVE! is a Polish restaurant in Brunswick East. It is a part of the larger Pierogi Pierogi group that has made its name over the last decade in food markets, events and catering. This venue is a real opportunity for us to make a splash on the local dining scene and a great chance for new staff to get in on the ground floor and help shape our work community and culture. We're a busy, quality-driven kitchen with high standards, strong team culture. and genuine love for food but especially Eastern European and Polish food. We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our Team. About the role
- Food preparation in line with recipes and instructions in a timely manner
- Managing prep levels and stock ordering
- Maintaining food health and safety standards and company policies and procedures
- Ensuring the quality and consistency is kept at highest possible standards
- Assisting in maintaining food and wage cost targets
- Contributing ideas while respecting Polish techniques and flavours
- Helping train, support and motivate junior chefs
- Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Senior CDP ready to step up
- Solid work ethic, positive attitude and a team player
- Communication skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen
- Appropriate Trade Qualifications
