**About the Role** The Finance Business Partner provides strategic financial guidance to key leaders within the Chancellery Portfolios. You will partner closely with portfolio and department heads, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive impactful decisions and improve business performance. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of financial management, including budget development, forecasting, and reporting. You will play a pivotal role in advising senior leadership on critical financial matters, identifying opportunities for improvement, and influencing key decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing proactive financial advice and supporting to drive improved decision-making and service delivery across the portfolio.
- Leading all aspects of the budget cycle, including development, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support effective decision-making.
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis, providing strategic advice to leaders, and supporting the implementation of process improvements to enhance financial performance.
**Who we are looking for**
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce related discipline with extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and/or training.
- CPA/CA qualification.
- Advanced skills in the use of reporting and database enquiry tools (Microstrategy, Power BI, GL Wand, Workday, SQL or similar), including the ability to export data in other forms for analysis, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft and relevant programs, e.g. MS Office suite including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Visio.
